You will still get a sun tan through any type of fake tan, wether it is a spray tan or self tan so be sure to apply SPF through out the day when sitting out in the hot weather. SPF creams are best when trying to keep your fake tan as fresh and even as possible. Avoid any tanning oils as this will soak in to your skin and start to break up your tan resulting in it fading much faster than normal.
If you have a fair skin tone and tend to burn in the sun I would recommend applying SPF and a big hat and sitting in the shade with a drink in your hand to protect yourself and your spray tan 🍹🤭
When it’s hot you will find the same areas of the body tend to sweat more than others. Places like under arms, down your back, under/inbetween boobs, thighs etc ; wiping the excess sweat from these areas with a towel or tissue will stop the sweat from drying in and breaking your tan up in these areas. You can also apply some talc to these areas to soak up any excess sweat when out and about.
Always have a cool shower after being out in the sun for a long period of time, washing off any suncreams then apply lots of after sun or lovely moisturiser to rehydrate your skin along with your spray/self tan. This will help make your fake tan last longer.
